Brands evolve as businesses grow and engage with their markets. It’s a point we make with our clients all the time, but Black Lake Studio itself is not immune to this effect. We often work collaboratively with entrepreneurs, ministries, and thought leaders to help them determine the best business model, brand message, and communications media for their organization, so it’s only right that we apply our skills and expertise to our own studio.
Therefore, as we were forging ahead into the spring of 2015, we decided that it was time we reconsidered and refreshed our own brand, particularly as it was expressed on our website. Over the past week or so, we’ve had the chance to finesse our own messaging and think of new ways to present our material on the web, both structurally and aesthetically. The result is a brand-spanking new website that showcases our ability to build brands through strategic communications and business-minded solutions.
Building the new website was a collaborative effort from the entire Black Lake team, with design, illustration, writing, photography, and strategic thinking all involved. We put lots of love into the design and message, and we wanted to show how much we love our clients as well!
