All over the world, millions of people live in non-literate cultures. Simply put, reading the Bible is not an option for them. So how can they hear about the Gospel of Jesus Christ?
There will never be enough missionaries to reach the millions of non-readers across the globe, but what if you could give an entire extended family the gift of hearing the Word of God in their heart language? Audio Scripture Ministries makes that possible. Since 1967, ASM has made it it’s mission to bring the Word of God to non-readers throughout the world by recording the Scriptures and distributing them on durable, reliable, affordable audio players. Headquartered in Holland, MI, not far from Black Lake Studio, ASM has bases of operation in Mexico, India, Nepal, and Mozambique. The ministry also partners with organizations and individuals throughout the world to deliver God’s Word wherever people need to hear it.
Several months ago, the ASM team sat down with us to talk about their brand and communications strategy. Together, we decided that it was time to sharpen the ministry’s message to more clearly communicate the world’s need and ASM’s solutions to a new generation. Their mission would be the same as it always had been, but we would verbally and visually unpack it in a new and compelling way. Black Lake got to work rebranding the agency’s end-of-year newsletter and email, as well as other assets.
Most notably, ASM’s revamped website has gone live in time for Christmas and the New Year. Check it out at asmtoday.org to learn more, support their work, and find ways to parter with ASM to spread the Word, and stay tuned for more collaboration between the Black Lake and ASM teams.
